I hope you have a fun weekend ahead. We’re going to a birthday party of a friend’s three-year-old and cleaning the upholstery on our sofas (adulting!) After doing much research on upholstery cleaning—to rent, to hire, to purchase your own—I finally caved and ordered an upholstery cleaner. Stain-free sofas, you will be mine!

My friend Megan made this slow cooker red lentil curry, and it looked so good that I had to make it the following morning for dinner that night—delicious and will be made over and over this winter! I mainly stuck to Megan’s recipe, except for a few things: I swapped out sweet potatoes for butternut squash as that’s what I had; added a squeeze of lime at the end; and topped it with some toasted unsweetened coconut chips, because I’m on a coconut kick these days.
